Is birchwood cutlery compostable?

Yes. Our disposable wooden cutlery is made from natural birchwood with no plastic coating, so it is fully compostable, unlike disposable plastic forks, spoons and knives. Compostability documentation such as ASTM D6400 or BPI and EN 13432 is provided per market.

What wooden cutlery do you supply?

We supply 160 mm birchwood forks, knives and spoons, plus a spoon, fork and knife combo pack. Pack sizes range from 100 to 400 pieces, so you can match cafe, catering and event volumes.

Is disposable wooden cutlery sturdy enough for hot meals?

Yes. Birchwood is naturally heat and cut resistant and the pieces are sanded smooth and splinter-free, so they hold up to hot and cold food far better than light plastic cutlery.

Do you supply wooden cutlery wholesale, and what is the MOQ?

Yes, we supply compostable and biodegradable wooden cutlery at wholesale and container scale. Our minimum order is shown in packs on each product page, and because a box of cutlery holds far more pieces than a box of plates the figure differs by product: 10,800 pieces for PLA coated bio cups and 13,500 for birchwood cutlery. Samples come first, and you can mix SKUs across a container. Quoted EXW, FOB, CNF, CIF or DDU.

Can I order a sample before placing a bulk order?

Yes. We can send a sample carton so you can check the finish and strength before committing to a wholesale or container order. Request a quote and mention that you would like samples.
