What are Palm Leaf Plates?

Palm leaf plates are the perfect waste to wealth eco friendly alternative to plastic, paper or other industrial degradable only kitchenware products used for serving food.

They are made by made by heat pressing naturally fallen leaves from palm trees that would otherwise go waste. These leves are washed, segregated and then heatpressed to various shapes and sizes.

  • They can be thrown into soil and will degrade within 8 weeks, naturally.

Naturally fallen palm leaves are picked up at farms, segregrated and traspeorted to factories where they are washed and sun dried. Then they are inserted to preheated moulds to derive desired shapes and sizes. The heat gives the otherwise flimsy leaf a sturdy and rustic feel. These are then packed into desired sets of 25/50/200 pieces with custom branding.

What is the Cost Per Unit for Bulk Orders?
  • The cost per unit depends on size or shape of the plate/bowl and number of pieces in each SKU.
  • For eg. an 8 inch sq plate costs $0.09 a piece. For a set of 100 such plates in 1 SKU, the cost will be $9.
  • Additional bulk discounts upto 8% apply on repeat purchase, Full container orders,prescheduled & combined shipping orders.
  • Yes you can customize your SKU to desired choice.
  • You can pick from a range of 50 shapes and sizes with or without cutleries.
  • You can also print custom branding content that can be used for packaging.
  • Our MOQ is 10,000 pieces per Size or shape.
  • We suggest you to order a 20Ft container and above to optimize for best cost of landed goods.
  • Yes we offer free samples. We have a standard sample set that has all sizes and shapes available in them.
  • You can also custom order a specific sample set as per your requirement.
  • While the samples are completely free, we request you to pay for the air shipping only.
  • Once the samples are shipped, photos and tracking details will be sent to you automatically.
  • Lead time depends on the size of the order and the variants of sizes and shapes available.
  • For smaller orders we generally have the inventory available with us.
  • For larger orders of 20ft Container and above the lead time will be 25 days for the first order and will keep reducing for each order.

Shipping and Delivery Frequently Asked Questions​

What Are the Payment Terms and Conditions?
  • Our default payment terms are 70%-30% during order confirmation and order dispatch.
  • In some cases we also offer 50%-50%.
  • Better payment terms get available with more shipments.
  • Get in touch with us if you’d like us to refer you to credit offering companies
  • For sample shipping we advince using air shipping like UPS, DHL, Fedex etc. It will take 3-5 days to receive goods.
  • For shipments, the suggested shipping option is only via sea. It takes approx 30 days to Ship to USA, most Eurpoean countries. 4-9 days to most Middle Eastern Countries.
  • We offer all delivery options either to your residential address or to a commercial warehouse.
  • We do not offer any return or refund policy for our products.
  • This is because our avg return rate for our existing customers selling online is less than 3% already

General Frequently Asked Questions​

1) Do you deliver?
Yes, we offer door/warehouse delivery of the goods. We also offer other INCOTERMS like Ex-works, FOB, CIF, DDP etc.
No, shipping is extra.
We offer drop shipping services for B2B shipments. We do not offer B2C drop shipping because the cost of the product + air shipping for each order from India is too high for any business to sell profitably.

We have an ISO certificate for our quality control and manufacturing process.

Our Processes are already 6 sigma compliant and we are in the process of certification. For each shipment, we will share individual certificates like Certificate of Origin, Phytosanitary certificate. Fumigation and any other manufacturing/export certificates depending on your country.

We manufacture and ship a full container in 25-40 days depending on the SKUs.The TAT gets better with each following shipment.
We do a thorough internal inspection and a mandatory third-party inspection for all shipments. Our quality is evident from the 3000+ 5 Star reviews on our customer’s Amazon/Ecom stores.

14) Do you do laser engraving or embossing?
  • ‌Yes, Its dependent on the size of the lazer print in sq. Inch. Complexity of the design + and number of pieces in order. Cost approx 0.2 usd/sq.inch.
  • Generally, it is not a practice to laser engrave for branded sales since the cost goes high.
  • ‌Yes, we do work with CSR. The organisation generally uses the purchase to donate for specific rural village.
  • We also have businesses donating for us to use to sending cutleries to religious intitutions near our factory.
  • We can get quotes from our freight forwarders.
  • Ask client to get a quote from a couple of FFs.
  • Get quotes on online FFs like ship freight and freights.
  • ‌No, we do not provide B2C dropshipping. This is because the products are large in volume and light in weight. It is not economical to ship each order. Although we do offer B2B drop shipping.
  • You can buy orders in bulk, ship them to the destination; or store them in your warehouses or our preleased warehouses. We are consistently growing our partner network warehouses.
  • We also offer API integration for your E-commerce store.
‌As a B2B, we sell to businesses who directly sell to the customers in the above mentioned E-commerce platforms. You can find our products from any of our customer’s stores. Palm Naki, BTBC, etc
‌We don’t take returns. But we can confidently tell you that you will have some of the lowest number of returns when you buy from us. Especially related to product/packaging quality.
Yes, we offer free samples. You just have to pay the shipping cost.
